JUICYCAMPUS GETS EVEN “JUICIER” WITH EXPANSION AND RE-LAUNCH OF WEBSITE

Los Angeles, CA (September 02, 2008) – Students have something juicy to look forward to this fall as they return to school. JuicyCampus.com, the website known as “the home of the juiciest college gossip”, unveiled a fresh new look and upgraded technology today. The site also announced that it would be expanding to 500 campuses during the month of September, meaning millions of students across the country will now be able to read and post the juiciest gossip from their college campuses.

With topics like “Cheaters”, “Biggest cokehead”, “In The Closet”, and “Best Lay” there was some question as to whether the site would be coming back at all. Indeed, some predicted that “the spectacular nature of it will be its own downfall”. The Founder and CEO of JuicyCampus, Matt Ivester, however, expressed tremendous optimism and a very different point of view.

“There is a huge demand for a site where students can discuss the topics that interest them most, in the manner they deem most appropriate” said Ivester. “Despite all of the controversy, we’ve decided to keep JuicyCampus true to its roots, anonymous and uncensored. We’re very excited to be expanding to all of these new campuses.”

The site already attracts tens of thousands of daily visitors, while serving just over 60 campuses across the country. With its plan to expand to 500 campuses by the end of the month, JuicyCampus is expecting the juice to flow and the traffic to skyrocket. More than 185 new campuses will launch today including Abilene Christian, Alabama State, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Ball State, Boise State, Denver, Georgia State, Illinois State, Indiana State, Kansas State, Kent State, Lake Forest, Louisville Tech, Marshall, Missouri State, Mizzou, Occidental, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Rhodes College, Rice, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulane, UNC Charlotte, UOP, William & Mary, Wyoming and Xavier. Additional campuses will be announced in the upcoming weeks. For a complete list of campuses please visit juicycampus.blogspot.com.

In preparation for the increased traffic, the site has invested heavily in upgrading their servers and enhancing their user interface. New servers will make the site ten times faster allowing over one million daily viewers, while the addition of a “most popular search” list allows visitors to see what their peers are searching for. Permalinks will make sharing easier, and a new tagging system will make searching easier. Also, users will be able to vote on whether they “agree” or “disagree” with a post and sort the posts accordingly.

With JuicyCampus’ significant expansion and upgrades, college students are in for a very “juicy” fall semester.

JuicyCampus is owned by Lime Blue Inc., a Delaware Corporation based in Los Angeles.
